Tuesday night 8pm

I published Mondays post at 4pm UK time but it wasn't published by the server until many hours later, if you didn't get to read it last night it wasn't my fault this time.... sorry.

Mostly just a quiet day today, there is not many people or traffic on the streets, holy week is kicking in.

I went for a long walk at 10pm but gave up at 3pm as it is now getting VERY hot during the day, it's only 30* but feels hotter, the humidity is only 66% but again feels more, with each day the weather feels hotter and hotter.... I can feel my skin burn.

Manila is the same as most big cities, the rush hour traffic is horrendous, some commuters found a way through the traffic, they bribed ambulance drivers to put their sirens on and take them fast through the traffic to the city.... now drivers don't get out of the way for ambulances.... hopefully it's not me in the back of one having a heart attack cos if so I'm gonna die.

I'm publishing this at 12.20 pm Tuesday UK time.

Hi Gerard,

Haven't answered your previous blog don't know where time is going.

Only 3 more weeks enjoy enjoy minute as I know you will.

Holy week will be very busy with everyone trying to get home to spend Easter with their families. It will be very quiet for you. Your badminton tourny on Sunday should be good. Hope all goes well.

Paul mentioned Scotland/England rugby well we wis robbed. I think it was a good game but I think Scotland deserved to win (I am not bias) but with Keith being English there's always going to be a disagreement in our house.....

Enjoy the hot sweaty weather for a few more weeks.

LOL

Hi there, I realised the other day when you asked if we were buying Ians house that all the details about the new house must have been when I blogged and forget to press anonymous, I thought that you were just not replying so of course all the things I have said you never read.
The house was a good buy it was up at 195,000 in a very bad state I might add a lady had died and had been a real miser according to the neighbours she never even had heating, double glazing etc anyway just up Maurices street we got it for 170,000 and have been practically knocking it down. Anyway I wont bore you any more incase you have already read it before. Hope to see you soon take care Love Janxxx

Hi Anne, will you stop reminding me of how little time that I have left as I am trying to put it to the back of mind ;-) Impossible as it is like a ticking time bomb !!
RE the rugby, I thought from a previous statement that you made that we had won, I never even checked so I was teasing Paul.
I hope the weather is good in the UK for my return, is it is cold and wet I'd better make sure that there are no ropes near me !!!

Hi Jan, No I don't know a thing about it, if it's not on my site then I haven't read it.
As it may be too much for here, you can tell me all about it in an email, gm@gerry7.co.uk
I glad that you got it under market price as I believe you will need that cushion when the prices fall further.
Are you going to live in it ?

Hopefully you will get this as there is nothing on the computer for Wednesday it is 7.00pm here. Yes we are going to live in the house, houses very similiar are going for 250 to 275 thousand so we were really pleased at the price. It is much harder than a new build I suppose its like when you put in bathrooms and tiles etc when you have to take the old out first it is so much more hassle.
I will miss this blog when you come back I will have to sort out my e mail or will you just keep your blog and do it more about badminton etc. Do you know have many people have visited your site does it say anything at your end,
I have visited most days but cannot always get time to send a message for example if I look on your blog at work. You are in Drapers favorites as well as mine. I bet you feel really important now. Lots of love JAN**XXX

Hi Jan, Wednesday's post hasn't been published by the server yet. they are a bit slow at the moment but nothing that i can do about that...sorry.

I hope the house is going well, I will have a nose around the next time that I visit.
Yes I may have to keep the blog going in some way.... although it may get boring as not much happens for me in the UK.
"can't get time to send a message"... are you that busy !!! I will have a word with the owners the next time that I am skeggie to let you have 30 seconds off each day to send me a message !!!
Yes it does tell you on the site how many visits that I have, look down on the right hand side where it says "hit counter", todays total is 3852.... not bad.... 3845 of them have been from me, you, Anne, Mary and Patsy. ;-)
