Friday 6am

It's now 6am Friday, I fly to Nha Trang at 11.35am, so I have to get packed, pay my hotel bill and get to the airport.

I have been in Saigon for 6 nights now, I always say that 3/4 nights in any city is enough to see the sights and move on, this is certainly true of Saigon. I probably overstayed my time here but now I go to a resort which will be quieter and I can have a nice rest in a quality place before I return home to Manila.

Below is a short video of my trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels.

So it's another weekend starting, they don't half fly around don't they.

I hope your weekend refreshes you

Hi Gerard,

The videos were great, its so good to see where you're staying and the surrounding area. I dont fancy those tunnels, didnt understand what he was saying so will get a history lesson from you when you get back home.

By now you will be in Nha Trang, how far is that from Saigon. Will you fly from there to Manila or do you have to travel back to Saigon?? Questions, questions and more questions.

Paul was right that is Henly's corner as soon as I sent it I realized.

Another weekend, and as you say they are flying passed, even quicker when you get to our age.................

Take care

Hi Anne, did you also the the video "Wednesday 9th" ? He was the best English speaker around.... so you now understand when I say that even with good english speakers, the vietnamese are still hard to understand.
I just got your comment at 8.30'sh my time (1.30am UK), I don't leave for Nha Trang for a couple of hours yet.
No problems about the questions.... they actually help me a lot, they give me things to comment on... so kep them coming.

Hi Gerard, I take it you are now in Nha Trang, dont have a clue where that is, hope your enjoying it.. the vidio of the Cu Chi tunnels was something else, I cant believe you went down those tunnels I dont think I could go down them for all the tea in China, (well maybe I would) I could sell all the tea and be rich like you....I finally got the video of the bikers, my word those bikers carry everything but the kitchen sinks, they must need a new bike every few months with all the weight they carry...So Gerard have fun in your new surroundings, and dont do anything I would'nt do..were enjoying Florida the weather is just great, went to the beach today, Saturday is the golf banquet, it's kinda nice having all the time in the world to do all the things you like to do...will talk to you soon.. luv Mary
